Learn, Grow, Inspire
About Us
Kids Connect Daycare provides high-quality, reliable, full-time licensed childcare for children aged 3 months to 4 years. Our child-led, play-based approach to learning supports the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. We have opted into and been approved for the CWELCC childcare affordability program. Additional information regarding current fees is provided in our Family Handbook.
Our program is guided by How Does Learning Happen? Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years (2014), which recognizes all children as competent, capable, curious, and rich in potential. Using emergent curriculum, our educators observe and respond to children’s interests to create engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate experiences that reflect each child’s unique self.
Our program is rooted in the belief that children thrive when supported within their family and community. We prioritize strong partnerships with families and local organizations to bring this philosophy to life.
Our waitlist has reopened to new applicants as at June 2, 2025. If you're interested in joining the waitlist, please click the button below to get started.

Our Mission and Values
Equity, Inclusion, Diversity & Respect
We promote equity, inclusion, diversity and respect for all individuals including staff, families, children and the community in which we operate. Both children and adults thrive when they feel they can be their authentic selves.
Top Quality Education
Our child-led, play-based approach to learning nurtures a child’s intellectual curiosity and supports and promotes their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development in a safe and nurturing environment.
Communication
We believe it is essential that families and teachers work together in partnership to nurture a child’s overall development. We want to ensure that families feel engaged in their child’s care and included as a part of their day. We utilize technology to provide timely communication to families including daily digital reports and photos, as well as ongoing communication with our staff.
Engaged and Active in our Local Community
Being active and supporting local community initiatives is incredibly important to Kids Connect Daycare. This includes fostering a positive relationship with our natural environment through outdoor play time (weather permitting) and planned local outings.
Programming
We know that children thrive in environments that invite them to explore, imagine, and problem-solve, especially when provided with long stretches of uninterrupted play and open-ended materials. Our classrooms and outdoor spaces are carefully designed to act as the third teacher and encourage active play, creativity, and meaningful learning opportunities. Outdoor time includes both gross motor play with rotating materials and guided nature walks to explore our local community.
At Kids Connect Daycare, we value the strong partnerships we build with families and believe that children are best supported when their learning is connected to their family and community. We maintain an open-door policy and foster ongoing communication through daily digital updates, newsletters, and special events. Families are encouraged to share their diverse perspectives and experiences, helping enrich our programming and learning environment.
Families receive timely daily reports via Lillio (formerly HiMama), including what their child ate, how they slept, and photos of them learning and playing alongside their peers. These updates also include anecdotes about your child’s interests, progress, and engagement with classroom activities.
Monthly fees include full-time programming during our operating hours of Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., excluding holidays. Fees also include a hot, nutritious lunch and two snacks, provided by our catering partner Real Food for Real Kids, in line with the Canada Food Guide and tailored to individual dietary needs.
